FALL 2019 RUNWAY SHOW IN NEW YORK
COACH PRESENTED STUART VEVERS’
Coach today announced that the brand’s Creative Director, Stuart Vevers presented his Fall 2019 men’s and women’s collection for the brand at the American Stock Exchange in New York City this afternoon.
This season, the familiar becomes unfamiliar, vivid and uncanny. Dismantled and reassembled. Dipped in psychedelia. Marine air permeates oceanic shades and prismatic optimism. Kaleidoscopic print dresses trailing and cascading. The house Signature evolves in playful ways––printed on oversized shearling, moving and distorted. Darkened floral collisions drawn from the work of Kaffe Fassett add to intense textural layers. The handmade feel of artisanal fabrics and quilts juxtaposed with bold, exaggerated outwear featuring magnified metal turnlock closures. A heightened sense of color, nature and emotion, both light & dark. A mash-up of joyful defiance and free-spirited grit.
Mr. Vevers presented his latest collection to an audience that included actor, producer and current face of the brand, Michael B. Jordan; actress and current face of the brand’s fragrance, Chloe Grace Moretz; Maisie Williams; Lakeith Stanfield; Dylan Sprouse; Charlie Puth; Iris Law; Jon Batiste; Charlotte Lawrence; Jackson and Satchel Lee; Dave Macklovitch + Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor; Joan Smalls; Paloma Elsesser; Camila Morrone; as well as key editors, stylists, retailers and global influencers.
Key models who walked in the show included Kaia Gerber, Dree Hemingway, Missy Rayder, Tasha Tilberg and Cat McNeil.
